Dear Martin,
I first met you on the first day that you opened,
and I also came to the original shop on the
first day that you brought your first son into
the shop.
I did not live in London then although I went
to medical school there (London Hospital,
Whitechapel). I was off to the Falkland Islands
and bought
a second –hand Sommerkamp DX-150 from
you (which before you sold it to me had come
from Bandit Bill at Matlock !)
When I returned I travelled to your shop
and bought an Icom IC-746, which I still have,
and an Alinco DR-150E, which I still have but
recently bought
a Wouxun KG-UV950P from you to replace it
– hence, I suppose, the invite to your hog roast.
I shan’t be able to make it as I am now 75
and live on the Welsh border, a long way for a
pig in a bun ! But thank you for the invitation
by e-mail.
However, I just wanted to congratulate you
on 25 years of helping me and others, for you
sound advice and for the excellent quality
business with an outstanding reputation that
developed from that first shop.
Please accept my congratulations and I wish
you another 25 years of well merited successful
trading.

Good Evening
, I’m a relative newcomer in to
the world of amateur radio, with a particular
interest in civil aviation. I contacted your
company in October and spoke to Richard
(Sales Manager) about what I wanted to get,
but stressed I was on a beginners budget.
From the outset he was brilliant, explaining
what I needed and why, and I ended up buying
a Diamond D777 antenna, with appropriate
cable and connectors. At the time I explained
that I wanted to later upgrade what I had, and
last week I visited your store, and was shown
various receivers that would suit my needs
that were within my budget. Richard and John
gave me unending time, and explained exactly
how the equipment would work. I ended up
buying an AOR AR8600 receiver, together
with an HF antenna. They knew my budget,
and although they could have recommended
more costly kit, never attempted to do so. A
massive thanks to both of them. They are a
credit to your company, as customer service to
this level is sadly lacking. Both are true assets
to you your organisation. I will be back when
I venture further into the world of amateur

Hi,
Just a quick message from sunny Herne Bay to
say thanks again for a great service. The Icom
7100 and MyDEL PSU arrived today, and both
are up and running. I have already had a QSO
on 2M FM, and comments on the audio using
the HM-151 mike were good. Having used your
store before, and experienced your customer
service, I am pleased to report again that your
service is exceptional with polite and helpful
staff, and delivery of the goods is extremely
quick.
