The KPA500 linear amplifier
can be used with any HF
transceiver. No tune up and no
warm up. It is exactly the same
size as the K3S and has a built-
in 230V / 115V AC supply.
It even senses on which band you are transmitting. Typical drive level
for 600W out, is 35W. Only RF input and PTT line connections are
needed. K3 series owners can enjoy auto drive level reduction when
the KPA500 is switched on. Instant 6dB transmit gain!
The KX3 is the most sophisticated portable HF transceiver
available. It also happens to beat almost every other base station
transceiver, irrespective of price! Up to 10W output from 160m - 6m,
all modes, including PSK31 and RTTY. Six channel memory CW
keyer and two channel SSB memories. The display is the same size
as that on the K3S, and there are Auto ATU options and additional
roofing filter options. To own a KX3 is to own a high performance
transceiver that is just as much at home on a base station antenna
as it is on a portable antenna. It has a superb dynamic range and
by using SDR technology, offers cutting edge performance.
The KAT500 is a wide ranging
automatic antenna tuner.
It is capable of handling up to 1kW, so it is well suited to maximum
UK power limits.
The KAT500 can be used with any HF station. It is capable of
handling an extremely wide range of impedances and reactances;
much more than the average auto ATU. You can select up to
3 different antennas, so this ATU is all you are likely to need.
Getting a perfect match means maximum power transfer into your
antenna.
