The IC-7300 features an
integrated wide frequency
automatic antenna tuner making it
ideal for field operation. The radio
provides 100W output power on
HF/6m bands and 50W on 4m.
The IC-7100 offers 100W from
160m/6m, 50W from 4m/2m and
35W output on 70cm. Not only do
you receive a large touch screen
display, but it is also D-STAR
ready and no SD card is needed. The TS-990S is a HF/6m,
5W-200W transceiver that has
dual TFT display. Features
include: +40dBm intercept point
RX, 2 TFT colour display screens
and 3 DSP processors.
Kenwood’s TS-480SAT is a
HF/6m all mode transceiver
and is equipped with a built
in automatic tuner. It has a

The TM-D710GE is a VHF/UHF

centre in Hockley will continue to increase sales
volume in 2016 along with the introduction of
radios such as the FT 991 from Yaesu (reviewed
this month page 20) and the new IC-7300 about to
be released by Icom.
All radios can be demonstrated at Europe’s largest demonstration
centre in Hockley from 160m through to 23cms.
